NCAFP Members Can Now Access Updated Family Medicine Career Benchmark Dashboard Data

By Kevin LaTorre

In April 2026, the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) released the new Career Benchmark Dashboard update! This newest version of the Dashboard now includes the data from the 2025 survey period, so that AAFP/NCAFP members can review the professional information collected from over 8,500 family physicians around the U.S.

It includes:

  • Compensation, benefits, and career satisfaction insights collected from 2023-25
  • Over 35 filters that help NCAFP members analyze those insights according to practice settings, clinical areas of focus, and other settings
  • The data needed to understand professional worth, no matter family physicians’ stage of career, clinical setting, or career path

About that worth: the 2025 data demonstrate that average Family Medicine compensation among AAFP members grew nearly 9% between 2023-25. This finding is just one more reason NCAFP members should carefully review the Dashboard to make sure they know their worth when negotiating salaries. Review the dashboard now!

In other good news for career-minded AAFP members: the Academy announced a new partnership with Health eCareers that will relaunch an enhanced version of the AAFP CareerLink on May 1!

“Family physicians are the foundation of a healthy society, and their impact has never been more important,” said Stephanie Quinn, AAFP’s SVP, External Affairs and Practice Experience. “By partnering with Health eCareers, we are providing our nearly 125,000 members with a modern, intuitive platform that simplifies the job search and offers the career resources they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.”
