Kick Off the 2026 Summer Symposium CME at the Preconference KSA!

By Kathryn Atkinson, CMP
NCAFP Events & CME Director

The 2026 Summer Symposium will begin in full force when NCAFP past president and fan-favorite expert guest faculty Dr. Thomas White welcomes lucky attendees to the preconference KSA: “Care of Older Adults”!

This convenient hybrid workshop, scheduled for Friday, June 5 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., will prepare attendees to recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes with ethical principles and evidence-based insights, thanks to Dr. White. He is one of the NCAFP’s most popular guest faculty, as both an experienced family physician and a lifelong student of better care for his patients.

In addition, attendees should remember that the Friday afternoon KSA flows right into our Welcome Reception and Networking Social on Friday night! This free event gathers family physicians, refreshments, and prizes – including a free Winter Family Physicians registration giveaway! Charlotte-area locals whose schedules only allow time for Friday’s social are encouraged to join us for the networking and fun. All attendees need to register using the “Reception Only” option so your name is included in the prize drawings.

Register to attend the NCAFP Summer Symposium and preconference KSA!
