As Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Hall oversees all education activities including all residency and fellowship programs at Atrium Health, as well as the Charlotte Campus of the UNC School of Medicine.  She is responsible for all academic programs, undergraduate and graduate medical education, nursing and allied health, continuing education, and PA and NP fellowshipos as well as physician leadership development.  She has been suerpvising and mentoring students and residents since first joining the Atrium Faculty in 1987 as the medical student director.  She enjoyed serving a number of different roles in the Department of Family Medicine in subsequent years, including residency director and department chair.  She became Deputy Chief Acadepic Officer in September of 2011 and Chief Academic Officer in late 2013. 

After graduating from the State University of New York at Binghamton, Dr. Hall earned a doctor of medicine degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.  She completed her residency and fellowship at the Medical University of Socuth Carolina, where she met her husband, David Hall, who is also a family physician.  They have two grown children.  Her favorite hobbies include cooking, exploring great food and wine in interesting settings, reading novels and exercising daily.
