Duke’s Dr. Alexa Mieses Named a 2019 40 Under 40 Leader in Minority Health by National Minority Quality Forum

The National Minority Quality Forum recently announced its 2019 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health honorees, and the NCAFP is proud to report that Dr. Alexa Mieses (PGY3) of Duke University Family Medicine Residency Program has been selected! The Forum received hundreds of applications from healthcare professionals from across the country and considers its 40 selections to represent the next generation of thought leaders in reducing health disparities.
