2018 Spring Symposium to Feature One-Hour Direct Primary Care Lecture

Curious about Direct Primary Care (DPC)? Wish you knew more about this popular and meaningful alternative way of caring for your patients? Get the answers and learn more during the 2018 Spring Symposium – A Saturday CME Event. You will not want to miss a fantastic afternoon session led by two of our very own Academy members, Past President Dr. Thomas R. White (15) and Dr. Joshua T. Carpenter. Join the discussion when they take center stage and share their personal journeys to DPC.

Their one-hour lecture, “Direct Primary Care – Can Simpler Solve The Complex?” will not only define Direct Primary Care but will also dispel the five common myths and misunderstandings of DPC. Physicians and residents who are interested in exploring the DPC path for themselves are strongly encouraged to participate in this fantastic opportunity. Held in collaboration with our Mecklenburg Chapter on Saturday, April 14th and with 8 AAFP Prescribed Credits on the agenda, the Spring Symposium will also include a number of clinical topics such as chronic pain, depression, women’s health, diabetes, hypertension, lipids, HIV and more. Visit our conference site at www.ncafp.com/symposium for schedule information, confirmed expert speakers and online registration. Please contact Kathryn Atkinson with any questions you may have at Katkinson@ncafp.com or 919-214-9058. We look forward to seeing you in Charlotte this April!
