The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has begun a new round of public input sessions on the State’s Medicaid Managed Care Reform Plan. Four sessions are planned for across the state over the next week, with the first one held this past Monday in Greensboro. The NCAFP had several key leaders share comments, including NCAFP President-Elect Tamieka M.L. Howell, MD, of Greensboro, Secretary-Treasurer David Rinehart, MD, of Belmont, and NCAFP Executive Vice President Greg Griggs. The NCAFP will also have representatives at events scheduled for Greenville (5/10), Asheville (5/12), and Raleigh (5/16).
Academy members planning to attend a session can download details provided by DHHS to look at the specific information it seeks and should also contact NCAFP’s Greg Griggs for additional talking points.
