60th Anniversary Celebration & Family Fun Night

Hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Christopher Snyder III, MD, enjoy a fabulous night of food, fun, bidding wars, and hidden talent! This year, our Annual Silent Auction will be an evening packed with excitement! Not only will there be terrific items to bid on and great food to enjoy, our very own membership will showcase their various hidden talents. Find out who is a master magician, a karate chopper, a musical genius, and a talented rapper! This night will certainly be one to be enjoyed by all! Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Bring your check book and help further the NCAFP Foundation’s mission of providing quality healthcare to the people of North Carolina. Biltmore Estate Candlelight Tour

Recapture the magic of the season with the larger-than-life yuletide celebration in America’s largest home, accented with elegant décor, dozens of Christmas trees, wreaths, poinsettias and miles of evergreen. Transportation and dinner for this evening are on your own. $35 for adults; $17.50 youth (6-16); kids 5 and under free.

2008 State of the Academy Awards Luncheon

President Christopher Snyder III, MD will give the State of the Academy Address. The 2008 Family Physician of the Year will be announced, as well as other significant awards. A dessert social in the Exhibit Hall will follow the luncheon.

Christopher Snyder III, MD, President says farewell and announces his President’s awards. New officers will be installed and Robert Lee Rich, Jr., MD will give his inaugural address as the 2008-2009 President.

Annual Presidential Gala featuring The Konnection

Sat., Dec. 6th, 2008 - 7:00 pm

Join us Saturday Evening as Dr. Robert ‘Chuck” and Faye Rich host a truly fun and entertaining evening during the Annual Presidential Gala! Complete with a reception and delicious dinner specially prepared by The Grove Park Inn chefs. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes and be prepared to kick back with music from The Konnection, a local NC band known for their classic country cover songs and oldies music hits. You’ll dance the night away! One ticket is included with all registrations except Students & Residents. Spouses and Guests must also purchase additional tickets. Additional tickets are $55 for spouses and guests, $35 for Residents and $25 for Students. Dress is business casual.
