2012 MATCH day is Friday, March 16, 2012. Residency programs are gearing up for this year's biggest change to the MATCH process: the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP) that changes the way the Scramble is conducted.

A recent survey conducted by health care staffing and consulting firm Merritt Hawkins shows a clear trend of newly graduating FPs seeking roles in employed settings, such as hospitals, hospital-owned practices, health systems, medical groups and other health care organizations.
