Community Teaching Award Recipients

The hallmark of a community physician is their ability to transfer their knowledge of patient care and their perspectives on what is means to be a family physician to rising medical students. Working with the family medicine departments at North Carolina's four medical schools, the Academy recognizes family physicians who show a special passion, gift and committment in this area with Community Teaching Awards.
