Governmental Affairs Advisory

The council meets during the Spring FPW and the Winter FPW in order to involve a greater number of participants. In between regular membership meetings, the GAAC meets monthly at the NCAFP Office. The Council addresses issues related to: Health Policy, Reimbursement & Policies for Medicaid and SEHP, Professional Liability Reform, Other regulatory issues related to Family Medicine. The group provides information and possible liaison representation to the following state agencies.
