Health Disparities

The Council will address all issues related to health care disparities that exist in North Carolina, including the examination of factors associated with unequal access and/or delivery of health care based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, economic status, or geography. In addition to other charges, the group will be asked to review and provide information related to the work of the following state agencies:

Governor's Task Force for Healthy Carolinians
NC Office of Research, Demonstrations, and Rural Health Development
Governor's Advisory Council on Aging
