Staying Green with Mobile Conference App

This year’s Winter Weekend will feature a terrific interactive mobile app available for download in the App Store or Google Play and accessible via a web link for laptop users. If you prefer to have a printed paper copy of the General Session lectures, you may purchase a paper syllabus in advance for $50. The main lecture hall will offer complimentary wifi and electrical outlets for charging your devices. For those attendees who participated in last year’s mobile app, please note this year’s version is completely new, very much improved, and extremely user-friendly.

Dress Code & Cellular Devices

Dress for the meeting is business casual unless otherwise noted. As meeting rooms can be drafty, a sweater or jacket might be of use. Attendees are respectfully asked to turn off all cell phones and pagers during the lectures as a courtesy to the other attendees and speakers.

Refunds (less a $75.00 Administrative Fee) will be made only upon receipt of a written request. No Refunds will be made after November 1st, 2014.

Parking Fees at The Omni Grove Park Inn

Attendees staying at the Omni Grove Park Inn (GPI) will receive complimentary self-parking in the outdoor surface lots. GPI guests using the hotel's garage parking or valet service will enjoy unlimited access. Non-resort guests will be required to make payment with a credit card or cash upon departure each time they depart from the parking garages and outdoor surface lots.

Interactive Audience Response Technology and Meet the Expert

Many lectures will include Audience Response Technology where attendees use remote key pads to respond to questions, scenarios and quizzes that are imbedded into the presentations. This fun and interactive experience will gage how much you know about a particular topic and stimulate your learning experience. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the speaker and personally discuss further comments and questions about the lecture topic in a separate meeting room that is free of distractions.

Visit The Exhibit Hall

Be sure to stop by the Exhibit Hall for breakfast and during the dedicated break times. Spend time with the representatives and learn about great new products that will help you serve your patients better. Only registered attendees and registered guests are permitted entrance into the Exhibit Hall. Due to the sensitive nature of some of the exhibits, children are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall.

Support Students - BE A STUDENT BUDDY!

Help medical students attend the 2014 Winter Weekend. You can elect to help off-set the cost of attending the meeting for student members. A Student Buddy ribbon will be distributed to physicians who sponsor students at the meeting. Show your support and be a BUDDY!
