By GOING GREEN, we will NOT be providing a printed general session syllabus for the 2012 Winter Family Physicians Weekend. We will be offering our program syllabus & conference materials online. Registered participants will receive an email with a web link approximately one week prior to the conference. The email will include a username and a password that will enable you to download, save and/or print your preferred program materials and course handouts. These online materials will be available for 90 days after the program. We appreciate your support as We Go Green this Winter.
Paper Syllabus For Purchase Only
If you prefer to have a printed paper copy of the general session lectures and the conference materials, you may purchase one in advance for $35. Please be sure to purchase and reserve your paper syllabus when you register.

New Garage Parking Fees Introduced at GPI
The Grove Park Inn has recently implemented Parking Fees for their Garage Parking. Please note, In-house guests will be charged $10 per day while Day-guests not staying on property, will be charged $5.00 for the first hour and $2.00 for each additional hour with a maximum fee of $22.00 per day. In-house guests will have charges billed directly to their rooms and will use their room key to enter and depart from the garages. Day-guests will be required to make payment with a credit card or cash upon departure. In-house guests have unlimited access in and out of the garage while Day-guests will have to pay each time they depart. All guests may also elect to use Valet Parking at $20 per day. Note: Parking Fees do not apply to outside surface lots for in-house or day-guests. The surface lot parking spaces are complimentary and offer over 500 outdoor spaces throughout the property.
Interactive Audience Response Technology and Meet the Expert
Many lectures will include Audience Response Technology where attendees use remote key pads to respond to questions, scenarios and quizzes that are imbedded into the presentations. This fun and interactive experience will gage how much you know about a particular topic and stimulate your learning experience. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the speaker and personally discuss further comments and questions about the lecture topic in a separate meeting room that is free of distractions.
T2P Lectures
We are pleased to offer lectures that qualify for the AAFP’s latest program, Translation to Practice or T2P. Recently, introduced by the AAFP, T2P is a new CME credit category that complements CME Activity already approved for AAFP Prescribed credits. The program provides an opportunity to apply what you have learned and report back on how it has been translated into your practice. The program is free for AAFP Members only and will award 2 Prescribed credits for the full completion of a T2P activity.
Visit The Exhibit Hall
Be sure to stop by the Exhibit Hall for breakfast and during the dedicated break times. Spend time with the representatives and learn about great new products that will help you serve your patients better. Only registered attendees and registered guests are permitted entrance into the Exhibit Hall. Due to the sensitive nature of some of the exhibits, children are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall.
Support Students - BE A STUDENT BUDDY!
Help medical students attend the 2012 Winter Weekend. You can elect to help off-set the cost of attending the meeting for student members. A Student Buddy ribbon will be distributed to physicians who sponsor students at the meeting. Show your support and be a BUDDY!
Accreditation
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
