The NCAFP is encouraging all members to contact their local NC Senate and House candidates to educate them on the importance of Medicaid and the nation's premier Medicaid management program - Community Care of North Carolina. With a large budget deficit looming next year, it is important to educate all candidates on the importance of our state's Medicaid program. Members can determine who their representatives are via the NC General Assembly website. Additionally, complete listings of all candidates for the NC Senate and NC House can be downloaded. Many NCAFP members, where home addresses and candidate information could be verified, should have already received an e-mail from Chapter President Dr. Chip Watkins urging you to make a call and providing specific candidate information for your district.
