Past President Dr. Conrad L. Flick discussed the use of electronic medical records on a special segment of NC Now, a nightly news program on WUNC, last night (Monday, February 15). Reporter Kelley McHenry explored the transition by health care providers to electronic medical records, and how the process is going in North Carolina despite concerns about privacy, accuracy and compatibility. Dr. Flick was featured prominently throughout the episode discussing how his office has installed an EMR and utilized for the past few years.
